Typical prices by size
These are typical installed prices per unit before GST, when the unit is part of a job that meets our $500 minimum. Your exact price is confirmed after we measure.
| Unit size | Example | Double pane | Triple pane |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | Up to about 24″ × 36″ | $330–$475 | $390–$570 |
| Medium | About 36″ × 48″ | $410–$745 | $495–$940 |
| Large | About 48″ × 60″ | $650–$1,265 | $815–$1,575 |
A job with a single small unit comes to the $500 minimum. Adding more units to the same visit spreads that minimum, so replacing several foggy units at once usually costs less per window.
What affects the price
- Size: larger units use more glass and take more handling.
- Double or triple pane: triple pane costs more but insulates better.
- Special glass: tempered safety glass, grids between the panes or privacy glass can add to the cost.
- Access: hard-to-reach windows, such as some upper-storey units, can affect the price.
- Supply only: if you’d rather install it yourself, we can supply the unit only, with a $200 minimum order.
Repair vs new window
A full window replacement typically costs about $1,650–$3,200 per opening, because the whole frame is removed and the interior and exterior trim need finishing. When the frame is sound, replacing just the glass gives you clear, efficient glass for a fraction of that. Read more on repair vs replacement.

Common questions
Does the price include installation?
Yes. Installed prices include the new sealed unit and installing it in your existing frame. GST is extra, and your exact price is confirmed before any work starts.
Is it cheaper to replace several windows at once?
Usually, yes. The $500 minimum covers the visit, so adding units to the same job lowers the cost per window.
How long does glass replacement take?
Custom units are made in Edmonton, usually in 2 to 3 weeks after we measure. Installation takes about 20 to 30 minutes per window.
